The UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) had previously announced 24 March 2020 onwards as interrupted days. This was reviewed again on 7 May and the period has now been further extended with a next review due on 28 May 2020.
The effect of the interrupted days status is that any official deadlines at the UKIPO falling within this period are extended until the interrupted status is lifted. The UKIPO have advised that they will give two weeks’ notice of the lifting of such a period so that any outstanding actions can be taken. However, they are advising that existing deadlines are still met if possible, to ease the position when the status is lifted.
